First Day of School
Welcome to our first day of school. Mom and I are teaching at the same school this year. She is teaching kindergarten and I'm in 2nd grade. This is my classroom. I'll put more pics on my blog later. Basically, b/c half of it fell apart today. I make this impressive (if I can toot my own horn) tree for our jungle. In the beginning of our day the tree came crashing down. It was so bad I had to laugh. This tree takes at least 2 and half hours to create so it was a bit disturbing but funny. We are off tomorrow b/c of the tropical storm. So we are starting our year out on a great note.

Ahhhh....that is so sweet, teaching together :-) I would have loved to have seen the tree & its demise...I love how you can laugh at something like that.
Where is my video? Forget spending hours on a tree that falls down for kids that don't care...make my video---we are tired of watching the one all about Ali!!

Kendra, Hold your horses your video is coming. Ali, you would love my room. It is soooo cute. I have the old part of the school is was built in the early 1900's. It's my favorite room so far. I'll put pics on it in the next couple of weeks. The original chalkboards are in there.
