Mason is now in recovery. Surgery took a little longer than expected. Dr. Danielson said everything went well. The plication (diaphram part) took longer b/c they were trying to get the lung on the right side to collapse so they could operate easier. That didn't work. So Dr. D would have to wait until his lung was down and then work. I hope that makes sense. He explained it like playing put put with a windmill. You have to wait for the opening to hit the ball. They are going to put Mason in the ICU for at least tonight. We are still waiting to see him. We will let you know any updates that we receive. Thank you for all the prayers and words of encouragement that you have shown Kevin and I. We appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. Sorry if any of this doesn't make sense. We're going on a couple hours of sleep. :)
Love you,
The Whitehouse

Oh wow momma!
I wish I could hug you right now... But I know Kev is with you and you feel the Lord's arms wrapped tightly around your precious boy. I know you are aching to see and hold him. I can't wait to get down there and pray with you and rejoice with you. We are lifting you all up and ask the Lord to shower you with His peace and wisdom and joy.
Hey guys,
We were praying for you and Mason today... from a close proximity! We had a neurosurgery consult today at the OCC building for Andrew and it was helpful to me to walk through the halls knowing that I could pray for Mason, who was probably only several hundred feet away somewhere! Would have tried to find you guys, but we are novices to ACH, and I was not at all familiar with the hallways and where we were and where you might have been. Just wanted you to know you were on my mind throughout the day and I'm praying you all get some much needed rest tonight.
