Mason and Allie Update

I realized it is almost the end of November and I need to give you an update. Mason is doing great. He had surgery on his eyes the end of September. They had to go in and reattach the muscles. It was somewhat successful. We still have some concerns and will be following up again the 1st of the year. He has made HUGE improvements on his sitting. He is really trying to sit by himself. His confidence has improved and we're so proud of all the things God is doing in his little life. He is getting a therapy dog the end of January. Magic is her name and she sounds amazing. She will be able to help detect seizures, assist him in sitting and help with his overall well being. We can't wait to get her!!

Quick update on the status of "the baby". We are not naming her until we know for sure she is going to be in our home. At some point I'm going to give you the details of all God has done in this situation. It really is an amazing story that only He could have written. The short of it is that birthmom is due next week. We have decided that if she still decides to go through with the adoption that we would be overjoyed to have this little girl in our home. We are ready for her. We pray each day for God's perfect will to be over this situation. We will be posting pictures of the nursery in December. Thank you for your prayers. I can't wait to tell you all the details of how God unfolded this plan.

We are excited about all the gifts that December will bring. There are several things on the horizon but until they are set in stone we have to wait to say anything. Thank you for keeping our family in your prayers. We are forever grateful for your love and friendship. Hopefully, we will be posting pictures within the next two weeks of a healthy baby girl. Have a blessed week, The Whitehouse.
