What if trials of this Life are His Mercies in Disguise

We found out late last night that the adoption did fall through. We knew it was coming since Tuesday evening. Birthmom started wanting us to commit to things that we did not originally agree upon. Some of the behaviors she was showing were not in favor of placing the baby up for adoption. So we rest in the peace knowing that God shut the door. This whole journey has been a roller coaster ride for us. We asked God to shut the door if this was not His will. There was a point where we couldn't tell a red flag from our own fear. So we said we would keep walking forward trusting in God's perfect will.

Yes we are disappointed but we are excited knowing that our little girl is out there. In God's perfect timing, she will be in our home and she will be greeted with lots of hugs and kisses. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. We have felt them these last 48 hours.

The biggest blessing in all of this was getting off the phone, walking upstairs and kissing our precious little boy. We have so much to be thankful for and He is the best medicine in the world. Our family, is looking forward to celebrating the greatest birth of all. Next week we sing Happy Birthday to our Lord and Savior. Thank you God for sending your son to this earth to show an example of sacrifice and amazing grace. We pray each of you have a wonderful Christmas.

We will not be sending out Christmas Cards this year but will post some of our favorite pictures of Mason soon.
Have a blessed day,
Wendy
